Fees

Camphill School Flexible Fee Structure

On admission, a fee assessment questionnaire is requested to be completed by carers and professionals close to the child/young person; their assessment determines the initial fee level.

Camphill School uses a flexible fee structure. A school year consists of 40 weeks education/care. Respite care is also available.

Weekly rates are determined by evaluating outcomes of our fee assessment questionnaire which helps ascertain the level of support and supervision an individual requires. The charge will reflect the level of dependence on adult support/supervision. As a pupil/young person achieves greater independence, the weekly fee will decrease; alternatively, if a young person deteriorates and requires more support, the weekly fee will increase.

During the assessment period, after 6 weeks, Camphill staff will complete the assessment questionnaire which may result in an altered weekly rate. Fee alterations or any other necessary arrangements will be notified to the fee-paying authority and will only be implemented with their explicit agreement! Thereafter, reassessments are conducted biannually (March and September).

Rates vary as follows, dependent on agreed assessment of needs:

Day pupils (Monday to Friday, 6-9 hours per day, 40 weeks)      £11,220 - £65,360
Weekly boarders (Monday to Friday, 40 weeks)                          £34,560-£120,960
Full-term boarders (40 weeks)                                                     £52,200-£156,600

Waking night staff
The need for waking night staff is determined by Camphill School. If a possibility exists to share waking night staff, the cost is £90 per night in addition to the weekly fee. A 1:1 waking night attendant costs £180 per night.
